This triptych, whose title resumes that of a painting by the Italian artist Giorgio De Chirico, is a reflection on the changing nature of things as well as a way of questioning the relationship between the photographic image as “writing by the light” (photo-graphia), and human writing.
A strange metallic object, reminiscent of the surrealist objets trouvés, hangs from a transparent thread inside a space that is itself enigmatic. As it turns, the object casts its shadow on the ground: a shadow that has the appearance of a mysterious and changing ideogram.

Ce triptyque, dont le titre reprend celui d’un tableau du peintre italien Giorgio De Chirico, se veut une réflexion sur le caractère changeant des choses ainsi qu’une manière d’interroger la relation entre l’image photographique en tant que trace de la lumière (photo-graphie : écriture de la lumière) et l’écriture.
Un étrange objet métallique, qui rappelle les objets trouvés des surréalistes, est suspendu à un fil transparent à l’intérieur d’un espace lui-même énigmatique. En tournant, l’objet projette son ombre sur le sol : une ombre qui a l’apparence d’un mystérieux et changeant idéogramme.
